It is tastes and healthy drinks. Make it simple. Some simple ingredients are needed to make this drink. The chocolate peanut butter smoothie makes a healthy ingredient, but it tastes like a milkshake. You can serve this peanut butter drink with a morning breakfast and it’s also a healthy dessert too.
The Chocolate Peanut Butter Smoothie ingredient:
- 4 medium frozen bananas (diced and frozen for at least 3 hours on a baking sheet)
- ½ cup Old Fashioned oats
- ½ cup cocoa powder or Dutch-process cocoa powder
- 3 tablespoons of peanut butter
- 2 cups of milk of choice or coffee
- 4 to 5 tablespoons of honey or maple syrup.
- 1 or ½ cups of ice
- For the garnish: 1 sprinkle of chopped dark chocolate, 1 drizzle of peanut butter
Instructions for making Chocolate Peanut Butter Smoothie:
- Place all the ingredients in a blender. Blend until creamy and frothy, stopping and scraping down the sides as necessary. Resist the urge to over blend; blend until it just comes together. Test and add the additional ½ tablespoon of sweetener depending on the sweetness of the bananas.
- If desired, top with 1 tsp of chopped dark chocolate. Serve immediately or store in a covered jar in the refrigerator for 2 days.
